Care Bear Program
First responders, whether they’re law enforcement, firefighters or emergency medical technicians, are trained to handle unbearable situations involving young victims or witnesses. The North Fort Myers Fire Department , now has one more way to help soothe children at the scenes of crimes or accidents. The North Fort Myers Civic Association delivered a second batch of stuffed care bears to our local first responders.
Our Care bears are given to provide love, friendship, and to help cheer up children in their time of need.
These “Trauma Care Bears” are given in hopes of softening the impact and changing their focus to a comforting object during a difficult situation.
We would like the community’s involvement to continue raising funds and provide our first responders with Care Bears. If you would like to participate in Donating a Care Bear, Click below.
